My name is Caroline Crockett, and I am the proud founder of Lake Daze Boat Rentals & Lessons. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and was fortunate enough to grow up on the beautiful Lake Austin, where I spent countless days on the water as a child. I stepped into a wakeboard for the first time at the age of 12 and started competing a year later, traveling all over the U.S. I began teaching wakeboarding and wakesurfing at local youth camps at the age of 14 and found that sharing my love of the water and instruction was my calling.
During college, I continued competing in wakeboarding and wakesurfing and started captaining and teaching lessons to individuals of all ages. Working for others gave me the encouragement to take the leap and start my own business in 2021. I quickly realized that the watersports industry was very male dominated, and I knew so many women that could not only operate a boat, but were also highly skilled coaches and riders as well.
That realization led me to starting Lake Daze Boat Rentals & Lessons with a vision to create unforgettable experiences on the water with female coaches and captains, and with a goal to stand apart from the rest of the current companies out there. With over 18 years of coaching watersports and being female-owned and operated, I’ve made it my mission to not only provide top-tier boat rentals and wakesurfing lessons, but also to foster a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.
When I'm not working on the water, you can still find me on the lake wakesurfing, offshore fishing, or hunting. I also work as a sales rep for an amazing wakesurf board company called Doomswell Wakesurf Co. I spend time in the winter snowboarding, traveling to boat shows, and working from home in preparation for the upcoming busy season.
